HPE Tech Jam 2026 in Vienna showed that enterprise networking is moving beyond infrastructure. The biggest themes were AI-native operations, stronger security, and platforms designed to deliver measurable business value.
A clear message throughout the event was that HPE does not see Aruba and Juniper as separate tracks. The goal is to combine their strengths into networks that are more intelligent, secure, and easier to manage.

Aruba and Juniper Moving Closer Together
One of the most important developments was the deeper convergence of Aruba and Juniper technologies.
Unified AIOps now brings Juniper Mist’s experience-based intelligence into HPE Aruba Networking Central, combining real traffic insights with predictive analysis. At the same time, Aruba Central’s wider operational visibility adds broader value for IT teams.
This direction suggests that autonomous networking is becoming increasingly practical.
AI Operations Beyond the Public Cloud
HPE Aruba Networking Central On-Premises was another strong topic, especially for organizations with compliance or data residency requirements.
The platform shows that businesses can still access advanced AIOps, proactive recommendations, and modern management capabilities without relying fully on the cloud.
Zero Trust with Operational Depth
The event also highlighted how Zero Trust is being implemented more effectively in real environments.
With shared policy control, identity integration, and dynamic access enforcement, organizations can build stronger security across wired and wireless networks. Tools like Marvis VNA also improve troubleshooting by helping teams understand exactly where authentication problems occur.
AI Infrastructure Needs Stronger Networks
The sessions on AI factories made it clear that AI success depends on more than compute power. High-performance switching, automation, and secure multi-tenant design are now essential parts of AI-ready infrastructure.
Wi-Fi 7 and Experience-Driven Connectivity
Wi-Fi 7, location services, and analytics also received major attention. The message was that wireless networks are no longer just about coverage—they are becoming intelligent platforms for user experience, tracking, and operational insight.
More Than a Product Update
The updates around AOS10 and the new Central platform showed a broader architectural shift. Intent-based workflows, scalable segmentation, and AI-assisted operations are shaping a new operating model for enterprise networking.
A Practical Direction for the Future
For me, HPE Tech Jam 2026 was not just a technology event. It offered a clear view of how enterprise networks are evolving into more autonomous, secure, and business-relevant platforms.
