Networking is rapidly moving toward automation and AI. Juniper’s Mist AI has led this shift, and with HPE’s acquisition of Juniper, a new era begins—one where AI takes center stage in shaping the industry.

Mist AI – the silent network administrator

Juniper’s Mist AI has redefined how networks are managed. With tools like Marvis Minis—cloud-based “network interns”—systems are monitored and optimized automatically. Strong security certifications (ISO/IEC 27017, 27018, IRAP, PCI DSS 4.0) further boost trust. The results are striking: up to 90% fewer support tickets and 85% lower operating costs. This is more than smart networking—it’s self-learning infrastructure.

HPE’s acquisition – strategy powered by AI

In 2025, Hewlett Packard Enterprise finalized its $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks. Beyond growth, the aim was to build one of the most complete, AI-driven networking portfolios in the market. With the merger, HPE’s networking division doubled in size, putting it in direct competition with Cisco.
The deal required U.S. government approval under strict conditions, but was supported as a counterbalance to Chinese rivals like Huawei. Under the new structure, Juniper’s former CEO Rami Rahim now leads HPE Networking, which operates as HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking.

AI as the backbone of the future network

The integration of Mist AI and HPE marks more than a merger—it’s a shift in how networks function. Future systems will adapt in real time, detect issues, optimize performance, and prevent security threats autonomously. With Marvis, digital twins, and automation built in, the network evolves from background infrastructure into a driver of business innovation.
