With the help of the SpontEO system, we can automate provisional tasks, as well as manage retrospective actions and configurations on existing systems. Using SpontEO reduces the working and lead time of tasks performed in the system, as process execution becomes standardized, and pre-arranged provisional processes help eliminate the exposure between certain operational and systems engineering areas. The solution can be successfully utilized during the complex, automated migration of live environments as well. (infrastructure and application combined).
Retrospective actions
It’s possible to perform retrospective actions and automation steps on the services created. Such actions include modifying power supply values defined on virtual machines, i.e. shutdown, rebooting, startup, resource modification, expansion, as well as console access.
Inventory platform
The platform features built-in interface solutions toward multiple monitoring or virtualization environments (vCenter, OneView, OpenStack, Zabbix, SCOM etc.), thus creating an umbrella system and presenting customer groups and operators with accumulated data on a single platform.
Script kit
We provide script kits in accordance with the basic configuration which we can further expand during the launch service as required. The script kit can be freely expanded, and the integration of existing scripts into the system does not require special training, therefore companies/organizations can use the scripts they previously created in accordance with their processes through the system.
Tenant and customer group management
It supports multi-customer environments, thus enabling the segmentation of user groups into customer groups. In accordance with the grouping, it’s possible to define resource limits to customer groups, meaning that each user group can only manage its own resources or claim new services within the group. One tenant can contain multiple contact users, and users can work in multiple tenants.
Cooperation with virtualization layers
Cooperation with various virtualization layers (VMWare, OpenStack, etc.). The layer enables the execution of automated provisional and configuration tasks, as well as provides entry points to servers. The virtualization layer helps define resource targets, as well as obtain information from the systems on an interface basis.
Automation and provisioning services
Execution of complex, multi-step actions with the help of the automation logic and chained scripts (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) as per the given parameters. Provisional services help execute actions that could only be performed manually through the cooperation of multiple operational or systems engineering areas (e.g. core infrastructure, network, OS level, application level). Moreover, provisional services can help promote IaaS, SaaS, DBaaS-based solutions to end-users and customer groups.
