The business development group was established as part of the InfoSec division, led by Gergely Lesku since 2020. The main task of the team is to map the international market and to serve the needs of IT security, especially managed security services, with a focus on the DACH region.
In response to the growing service-oriented demand, EURO ONE established its own SOC center in 2018. At the same time, the management of the division recognized the need for a dedicated organization that could compete in the international market and founded SOCWISE Kft. in Hungary and SOCWISE International GmbH in Germany. This subsidiary is the result of the natural evolution of the cybersecurity division, while maintaining close collaboration between the parent company’s project-oriented and service-oriented teams.
The main profile of SOCWISE is the provision of managed security services (SOC-as-a-Service), but separate elements such as SIEM and SOAR platform management, security engineering services, SOC consulting and cyber security defense consulting are also available as part of the offered service package. The division has built up and fully supported more than 40 security operations centers throughout its operations.
In addition to the headquarters in Hungary, the presence in Germany has enabled SOCWISE to expand its activities internationally and to cooperate with local partners. The headquarters in Germany is responsible for business development and customer relations, while the actual security operations are handled by the HQ in Budapest, whence customers are serviced.
The future goal of the division is to further strengthen service-oriented operations, and to apply automation and artificial intelligence more widely to cybersecurity tasks.
