AI in Operations – When IT Becomes a Service Provider

Modern IT operations go far beyond managing servers. Organizations now expect efficiency, scalability, and automation. But how can IT truly evolve into a service provider rather than a support function?
The Challenge: Repetition and Rising Costs
IT teams often spend too much time on repetitive, low-value tasks that drain resources and slow business growth. To tackle this, EURO ONE and HPE ran a three-month pilot project aimed at making IT operations unified, transparent, and cost-controlled.
The Solution: HPE Morpheus and GreenLake
The project used HPE Morpheus, an orchestration platform that streamlines infrastructure management both technically and commercially. With just a few clicks, entire environments—operating systems, applications, and databases—can be deployed consistently and predictably.
Morpheus offers over 75 integrations (including VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, and Ansible), supports multi-tenant management, and provides reporting and cost analysis tools that enable data-driven decisions. It also integrates CI/CD pipelines and container environments, covering the full range of modern IT operations.
AIOps in Practice
Artificial intelligence is increasingly shaping IT operations. By combining Morpheus with the OpsRamp monitoring tool, AI can now analyze system data, optimize performance, and recommend improvements. The Morpheus agent gathers deep operating-system-level data for more precise insights and interventions.
EURO ONE’s Own AI Solutions
We developed two proprietary AI tools that enhance IT operations:
- AI Assistant for Zabbix: Analyzes alerts, identifies error types, suggests troubleshooting steps and commands, and provides summaries to prevent future incidents.
- AI-based Patch Analysis: Evaluates system updates automatically using the CVE database, prioritizes vulnerabilities, and generates management-ready reports to guide update decisions.
The Future of Operations powered by AI
At EURO ONE, AI is not a buzzword—it’s a practical driver of efficiency and business value. Our AI tools already deliver faster responses, fewer errors, and more transparent, predictable operations—benefiting both IT teams and the wider organization.
