This is how we are informed about which articles and what kind of content gets the most visits. Since the use of such cookies is not essential, their use requires the consent of the visitors.

Marketing cookies display targeted, personalized advertisements on various advertising platforms. Since such data processing is not essential, the use of such cookies requires the consent of the users.

In these cases, the legal basis of data processing is as follows: The visitor’s consent, provided in a pop-up window on the website. 3. Rights and legal remedies related to data processing

In connection with data processing activities, the data subjects, that is, you, are entitled to certain rights, as follows. You may exercise your rights by contacting the Controller using the contact details provided above.

3.1. Right to access

You can request information from the Controller regarding the following:

  • which of your personal data is processed
  • on what legal basis
  • for what data processing purpose
  • obtained from what source
  • for how long, and
  • which of their personal data is made available for access or transmitted by the controller to whom, when, under what law.

In accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR, you may request a copy of your personal data managed by the Controller. We may charge an administrative fee if you require us to provide additional copies, in which case we are going to send information in advance about the amount of the fee and the method of payment to the contact information provided by you for this purpose.

3.2. Right to rectification

You have the right to have the Controller change your personal data (for example, you may change your e-mail address at any time). The Controller is required to fulfill your request immediately, but within one month at the latest, and send a notice of completion to the contact information provided by you for this purpose.

3.3. Right to erasure

Based on your right to erasure, you are entitled to have the Controller delete your personal data from its systems at your request, without undue delay.

The right to “be forgotten” extends your right to erasure into the online environment, meaning that, if the Controller has disclosed your personal data and has been required to delete such data, the Controller is required to take reasonably expected steps to inform the controllers processing your personal data that you have requested the deletion of links to your personal data, as well as that of the copies or duplicates of such personal data.

Regarding this data subject right, however, it is important to note that it is not possible to erase and “forget” personal data in the cases specified in Article 17(3) of the General Data Protection Regulation (e.g. there is a legal obligation to preserve the data).

3.4. Right to restrict processing (blocking)

You have the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing, commonly known as blocking, where any of the following conditions applies:

  • You contest the accuracy of your personal data. In this case, the restriction shall last for a period enabling the Controller to verify the accuracy of your personal data.
  • The processing is unlawful, and you oppose the erasure of the personal data, requesting the restriction of their use instead.
  • The Controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you request said personal data for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.
  • You have objected to the processing. In this case, such restriction shall be valid until it is determined whether the legitimate grounds of the Controller override your legitimate grounds. The Controller will inform you in advance about the unlocking of your personal data.

3.5. Right to data portability

You may request that the Controller send the personal data provided by you in a segmented, widely used, machine-readable format to the contact information provided for this purpose. You are also entitled to have the Controller transfer this data to another Controller, if this is technically feasible.

3.6. Right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons related to your own situation if the processing of your personal data is carried out in the legitimate interest of the Controller or because of its public authority nature or for direct marketing purposes, including profiling related to the latter. If you object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, your personal data shall no longer be processed for such purposes..

3.7. Right to complaint and to legal remedy

If you consider that the Controller has violated the applicable data protection regulations when processing your personal data, then

  • You can file a report with the Controller;
  • You can file a complaint with the supervisory authority;
